Extraordinary homes: the hanging cabin

septimo

Yes, to fight against the heat, there is nothing better to head up to the North and, if given the choice, it would be cool to stay in a cottage in Canadá. This beautiful hanging house is in Val des Monts, at Quebec.

Designed by Cristopher Simmons, it’s living is suspended and it features bedrooms on the back side to be the counterbalance of the frontal façade.

As several indoors are exposed to the outside, wood is all around, to imitate the landscape and to minimize the impact of the interiors. Absolutely authentic.
